The Steam Distillation Process is by far the simplest and globally most accepted process of extracting the natural essential oils from the various plants, trees, flowers, fruits, seeds, etc.
In this process the various parts of the plant/tree or specifically fruits, buds, etc. are put in huge steam boilers and are subjected to very high heating. The organic compounds of the raw material escape the resident spaces as a result of excessive steam hence produced. The volatile liquid molecules of the raw material are then captured during their separation from water.
